The board of directors of Namesco Limited are delighted to announce that the company has today acquired the entire issued share capital of Simply.com Limited for a total cash consideration of £2.15 million pounds.

Simply.com has been continuously trading since 1998 as a domain registration, web hosting and server rental business and now has 32,000 active customers, 91,000 domain names and some 9,600 hosted accounts.

Simply.com, based in Malvern, Worcestershire is just 10 miles from Namesco's offices in the City of Worcester. A swift operational consolidation to Worcester will deliver immediate efficiencies and strengthen the combined business.

Both businesses are highly complimentary but each has significant cross sell opportunities such as Broadband, Reseller Hosting, Server Rental, European Domain Registration, E-commerce and Web Design Solutions to name a few.

Simply.com Limited has placed a big focus on customer service, much like Namesco and the combined UK workforce of over 30 will ensure customer enquiries are dealt with quickly and comprehensively.

This acquisition instantly doubles the size of Namesco Limited and will now manage over 160,000 domain names. This safely places Namesco within the top of the domain registration and hosting sector in the United Kingdom.
